The road to Hāna is calling—are you ready to plan your next adventure? In this article we will recommend various Hāna, East Maui-located activities to make your next island vacation an unforgettable one.

1. Go Skydiving in the Hawaiian Rainforest

Are you an action-packed adventure seeker? Or are you looking to try something new and out of your comfort zone? Maui Skydiving is all you’re going to need for an afternoon of adrenaline.

Imagine seeing the vibrant jungle of Hāna, Hawai’i from high up in the sky. This operation, located at the local Hāna airport, offers tandem skydiving with a professional and certified instructor. Also available is a video/photo package so that you’ll forever remember that time you jumped out of a plane on the beautiful island of Maui! Check out their services and details.

2. Visit Waianapanapa State Park (Black Sand Beach)

Honokalani, the historic black sand beach in Waianapanapa state park, is a must-stop destination in Hāna. The gorgeous, unique cove is nestled between gorgeous lava rocks and vibrant greenery.

With a relaxing beach and walking trails that line the cliffside, your time at the state park will be filled with epic views and activities. Take a dip in the water or hike the King’s trail while you’re there. Make your reservation up to two weeks in advance. Make sure to wear good shoes—it can be rocky and hot!

3. Explore the Lava Tube

Hawai’i is known for its volcanic landscape. Discover this extravagant terrain from underground in a publicly accessible lava tube right here in Hāna. Lava tubes are naturally made pathways due to lava flow crusting over on the surface, creating a cave channel underneath. Once the lava drains it leaves the caverns. The Hawaiian islands contain many underground lava tubes, including the one here in Hāna made by Haleakalā, the East Maui volcano.

This affordable tour is self-guided—flashlights included—and takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. It’s a perfect place to take the whole family! While you’re there, check out the red ti botanical garden maze. Check out their website for additional information.

4. Take Flight Over East Maui

Looking for a luxurious adventure? Take a helicopter flight over the stunning coastline of East Maui. Air Maui, located in Kahului, has various helicopter experiences that include discovering East Maui’s luscious landscape. Fly over the Hāna rainforest, witness an abundance of waterfalls, and even explore views of Haleakalā from great heights all in one flight!

5. Get Your Hiking Boots On

Looking for a place to hike in Hāna? Fagan’s cross, located near the center of Hāna town, is short and sweet. Fagan’s cross is located on the hillside opposite to the Hāna Maui Resort—it’s not hard to miss!

The hike passes through cow fields and is uphill one-way, downhill on the return. At the top you will find the giant stone cross, and you’ll get to witness a stunning180 degree view of Hāna, “the Heart of Old Hawai’i.” We recommend walking the hike during dawn, for East Maui is known for its incredible sunrises.

Really enjoyed reading this! Thanks for sharing such valuable insights. I’ve also been exploring Shoe Daddy for best shoe cleaner, white shoe cleaner, sneaker shoe cleaner, and effective shoe cleaner liquid options for everyday footwear care.

Went through a couple of quotes before landing on this company https://rocksolidexcavationsc.com/ for a septic system install, mostly because their initial site assessment was more thorough than the others. They explained the whole process clearly upfront, which made a big difference since none of this was familiar territory for us. Work got done on the timeline they quoted, no delays or excuses. Good experience for anyone in Upstate SC needing excavation or septic work.

Finally got around to cleaning up my one-pager and adding a proper "resources" section instead of just social links. Under that I've got a handful of sites I actually reference regularly, and legalbet.rs made the cut for anyone into sports betting — it's become my default when I want an honest read on a Serbian bookmaker before signing up. Everything else on the page is more personal/hobby stuff, but this one gets clicked on more than I expected. Might expand the section later if people find it useful.

The road to Hāna is definitely calling after reading this—I’ve been dreaming about those waterfalls and the garden tours you mentioned. I’ve been using this exact list to map out my stops, and it’s making the drive feel way less overwhelming. Check out https://ai-voice-free.com
